Challenge accomplished! :)

Taking a walk with a lovely family on a quiet Saturday morning is beyond compare for me... the fresh air, the morning sunshine and just having fun, I love it :) Than I can't wait to go home, load up the pictures and see the result... Today I am very happy. Happy to get this feeling, happy to meet this family and happy to capture lots of smiles from this 2 little fellows and nice, organized photos even if I was said its nearly impossible :))) Well, I think challenge is accomplished ;)

I know parents usually don't like silly faces on photos but look at this is sooo cool!! :))

And the story? Well, there's no much to say... however I've learned a lot from this session as well... The funniest thing of all is that we started to shoot with white background but after a couple of mins we changed to black. It means we've got maybe 10 photos with white and at least hundred with black. What happened in the end? The best photo came out with white background... Wasted time? Not for sure ;)

Andrew James is a real wee present for his family...

Oh guys, I just can't find words to explain what a great pleasure was to photograph this wee baby and spend some time in his home yesterday! Living far from my country and many members of my family I don't really often get that ... you know... that special "home feeling" - with all its smells and noises, that peaceful, cozy felling when your memories start to fill up your mind and remind you your care free childhood.... Well, this is what I've got yesterday from Andrew and his loving family ... and I am so thankful for this! :)

Andrew is a real wee present for his family...

He is made by love :)

Always better together...

To be continued ;)

A (not so) professional photo shoot and my 2 lessons to share

Well, that's right... it's going to be a very honest post :) With a very little experience I've started this project a couple of weeks ago and I still don't know whether I was more anxious or more enthusiastic?! Whatever it is, the first session begun and simply because I didn't know what to expect, I was quite unprepared.

I know it is something that people don't like to admit, but honestly isn't improvement means a lot? :)
If you think that photographing a model is the same than snapping a baby there you are mistaken. I have lots of experiences with families and kids but it didn't help me this time.

It was completely different and extremely complicated. I had to make it through a store window in a busy shopping centre, the model didn't get the outfit she expected to wear,  I've got very bad lightning, I couldn't communicate with the model properly through the window and so on ...

Okay. Here is my 1st lesson: If you are not properly prepared beforehand, you need to work so much more afterwards! I mean... A LOT! :) And there is a wee problem with this according to my experiences. The more is the post production work on the photo the less is the chance the model is going to recognize herself on the photo :DDD

And here is the result:

And now, watch out! This is how she really looks like. Can you see the difference? :DDD

And what is my 2nd lesson I've learned from this session? After learning the 20th retouching technique on Photoshop, you'll never say again that: "I'll believe it when I see it" - you simply won't believe even to your own eyes :D Especially not what you see in fashion magazines ...

By the way, I've learned what I had to... and I was looking forward to the next session with less anxiety and even more enthusiasm. The result is coming soon!!  :D

An other fabulous family session and even more puppies

A sunny morning, a well prepared and gorgeous family included smiling kids, a beautiful home surrounded with all kind of cute and very photogenic pets- what else a photographer could ever dream about? :) Let me say a gigantic THANK YOU for this day and all the love and kindness you welcomed me and I do trust you are really happy with the outcome. This is a kind of session definitely to be continued ;)
