And the story? Well, there's no much to say... however I've learned a lot from this session as well... The funniest thing of all is that we started to shoot with white background but after a couple of mins we changed to black. It means we've got maybe 10 photos with white and at least hundred with black. What happened in the end? The best photo came out with white background... Wasted time? Not for sure ;) 

A (not so) professional photo shoot and my 2 lessons to share

Well, that's right... it's going to be a very honest post :) With a very little experience I've started this project a couple of weeks ago and I still don't know whether I was more anxious or more enthusiastic?! Whatever it is, the first session begun and simply because I didn't know what to expect, I was quite unprepared.

I know it is something that people don't like to admit, but honestly isn't improvement means a lot? :)
If you think that photographing a model is the same than snapping a baby there you are mistaken. I have lots of experiences with families and kids but it didn't help me this time.

It was completely different and extremely complicated. I had to make it through a store window in a busy shopping centre, the model didn't get the outfit she expected to wear,  I've got very bad lightning, I couldn't communicate with the model properly through the window and so on ...

Okay. Here is my 1st lesson: If you are not properly prepared beforehand, you need to work so much more afterwards! I mean... A LOT! :) And there is a wee problem with this according to my experiences. The more is the post production work on the photo the less is the chance the model is going to recognize herself on the photo :DDD

And what is my 2nd lesson I've learned from this session? After learning the 20th retouching technique on Photoshop, you'll never say again that: "I'll believe it when I see it" - you simply won't believe even to your own eyes :D Especially not what you see in fashion magazines ... 

By the way, I've learned what I had to... and I was looking forward to the next session with less anxiety and even more enthusiasm. The result is coming soon!!  :D

Golden make up - brilliant job

Ah! I have such a lovely day! First because the sun was shining all day and I could smell the spring in the air! (It encouraged me greatly considering that some flu tries to win over me again.)  On the other hand because I've got the chance to make a session again with Adriana Ricci, who is the most talented make up artist I know. Ok, you can say I probably don't know too many of them but believe me Adriana can make miracles with her beauty stuff and we make a very good team together!  :))

What's more it was a great pleasure to work with Emma who is totally photogenic and lovely. I seriously think she could make money with modeling :) 

I basically love Black &White photos but I must admit this time I hardly decided to edit some as the colors were just so perfect anyway.

Fun in the town with Iveta - urban style

I've got an other challenge from Iveta... She was very happy with the result of the last session, but this time she wanted something very cool, not so natural, not so romantic but still girly... Ok, challenge accepted!!! :))) I immediately knew what style she need...so we arranged a meeting in town @7am (!!!!!) and inspite of the rain started to create something really cool!!! Here you are:

You know guys I enjoy this beauty staff better and better. It's not easy anyway cause the beauty industry is constantly pouring out the nicest fashion photos day by day and I am not sure I could compete with them and their photos, but you know what! I love to do it! I love to see the happiness on my model's face and hear the exclamation: "Oh wooooow! Is that really me?????? I didn't know I am this beautiful!!!" So I am not disappointed at all...just keep going and who knows what is in the future??? More picture are coming soon with an other stunning girl...

The Dilemma

I've never thought I'll shoot anything else with joy but babies, toddlers, tiny toes or loving families. I don't even know how I found myself in the middle of the beauty photography. It is so much different. Different lights and settings, places and vision are needed, but one thing is the same. I have to show to the people how amazingly beautiful they are....because of many reason, they just don't know. I don't know why, but so many attractive mums full of daily problems; or anyone who is not 18 anymore - they just can't believe they still can show up stunningly. I love that project and plan to spend some more times in it besides the kids and tiny toes ;)

Well... look at her!! Isn't she stunning??? I am looking forward the next session on Saturday - full of ideas!! Just wait for it:))    

Lady's day: so much beauty - so much fun :)

Fashion at first...

Well... this day was absolutely awsome!!!:)) Full of everything I really love e.g. lots of challanges ;) A few days ago I seriously thinking about how could I try myself and my beloved cam in the fashion photographic , cause I really didn't know is it working for me or not, is it so lovely like the kids photography... thats why I was soooo happy when one of my best friend asked me to came this afternoon and take some shoot while her professional make up is getting ready...That was a nice team work, great job, from everyone and the result!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Since I was there in the whole time, I had chance to try some kind of photojournalistic style, which is really stunning I think...But you tell your opinion please!!! :)))))
