Conferring Ceremony 2013 - Sligo IT

I am not a typical event photographer. No really, I am not. I took this job only because I know this family quite well and they are too lovely to be turned down :) 2 days, 2 diplomas, 2 sessions ... an extra family session in the end... and the result got framed!! Ah! Love the times when the hard work pays off... I share only a few photos today so make sure you'll be back later ;)

If mothers were flowers I'd pick you...

If funniest and greatest photo sessions were flowers I'd pick this one :) Ok, I know that every session is my favorite one, but this one was really-really a special one! First because it was a surprise and I love surprises :)) Than because we've organized it to my favorite beach ever - we've got a quite pretty weather, great company and what else we need to make a Saturday morning wonderful?? :) On the other hand it was my very first official Mother's Day session! Applause please!!! :))))

I've found this card in a book I picked up randomly while waiting for the family - Hmm... I don't believe in accidents!! :)

These boots make me constantly smile!! Is it normal? 

Honestly! How cute is this little man? It was not the first time I tried to snap him but it was definitely the first one when he posed me while showing his face, not his back... even a wee smile...ah! That's a miracle!! :))

Ok, this generation photo is not completely my idea, but... it is just such a great and mind blowing idea that worth to give up some of my pride :))

Showing the images was almost as good as creating them. The result is at least 24 "Goooorgeous" and 32 "Lovely" which is a really good rate :))) Mother's Day is just around the corner and I'm looking forward to a busy couple of days. Will be back soon with the latest! Happy Monday!!!! :)))

Happy Holidays

Well, you may think that Newborn Photography is easy - just put there the baby and snap....oh dear....No, it's not "that" easy!!! But its wonderful! :)
And in the end everybody is happy...
Mum and Dad are happy for the photos, Baby is happy because she doesn't have to sleep in a basket anymore... and the Photographer is happy for this fabulous family is HAPPY :)))

Sophia is a real Christmas Baby... Marry Christmas guys!!! :)))

Just a few days ago...mum and her doughter...took a videoshoot with their testimony, that was a great experience:)) I've got some pics too but hopefully we can arrange soon a "normal" session:))

Keevy's family

Well guys, Keevy's session was the same hard as I expected. He is so busy and full of life and interest that made me very difficult to get his attention. The only thing is able to keep him engaged and easily get his smile is to sit on his daddy's sholuders or back :))) But the smiles we've got in that pose are awsome! At the moment I think I should have taken video rather than photos, but you know what, I enjoyed every minutes I spent with Keevy and his lovely family, and I am glad I had chance to be a part of this session :))) xxx

Mum to be

Hi everyone:)) I'd like to share with you some very special experiences I've got today and some special Pictures too of course:)) Thanks be to Nathalie and her lovely family I've had chance to try myself in an other nice part of the portrait photography by let me take some maternity shoot today. To tell the truth it was much harder than I thought. I was thinking a lot in the car back home... and yes, I definitely was disappointed and a little bit sad. The session was not the same as I expected and I was wondering why... They were so helpful and nice - excellent models :)) But what was wrong with me??? Later I've checked the pics and I was surprised again...you know what?? The photos are great!!!:DDD How could it be happened??? It was difficult to find out, but now I think beacause there is so much differences between the kids and their parents. The children always full of life, never stop moving, they enjoy to be in their own world so intensively and cute way that makes the photographer's job very easy. The kids usually don't really mind what I ask them to do, they just try to involve me into their world...ad I LOVE it!! So natural...so true!!! What about the adults??? They are so obedient, so helpful what made me surprised. Nathalie and Mike were really interested in what I want them to do:))) Now I think this session was great. Not easy, not just a normal, usual thing but something greater and I've learned a lot. And I am not disappointed at all:))) I hope neither you won't when you look at the result!!!:))) With Love: Mariann xxx
